Windemere is currently the property that I would most highly recommend as the quintessential Costa Rica property. Huge ocean views, waterfalls with pools, lots of room for several main ocean view residences and various villas sprinkled around the jungle. Toucans and howler monkeys can be seen and heard on a daily basis.

The private entrance to Windemere is shared with one other resident and is currently in good shape and is well made.

Windemere is excellent for a family compound or an ecological retreat center. There is an extensive bamboo stairway, complete with handrail that leads down to the stream. The pathway winds through the jungle and has a calming effect on the walker as they are able to enjoy the shaded, dappled passage through this gorgeous jungle. There is a small bridge at the bottom of the trail that enables one to cross over a tributary to the stream. It goes on... This is one of those rare properties, Planet Earth.
